Travel – the not so usual way!

What is your idea of a budget trip? And would you do a budget trip to a remote and sometimes dangerous place? How far would you go in order to stay within your budget? Would you hitchhike, stay with strangers or travel without knowing where you would be the next day? Would you manage to see the sights and also be able to make friends with the locals and be shown around by them?

What if you were told that somebody had really done this and more? And, spent an average of just Rs. 221 per day while doing their trip – to the North East of India.
